Rita
Anderson (Marley) was a member of a Coxson Dodd/Studio
One group called the Soulettes in the mid-sixties. Bob
Marley was asked by Mr. Dodd to coach the group. Rita
and Bob fell in love and, the day before Bob left for

Rita appeared on many Wailers' recordings throughout
the '60s. and eventually helped forn the I Three, along
with Judy Mowatt and Marcia Griffiths, to back Bob on
his solo recordings beginning in 1974. They toured with
Bob through 1980. Shortly after Bob's death in May,

international herbal smash "One Draw." Although
she still records the ocasional solo album, her greatest
